Where the impossible happens every day.

Why it is hard sci-fi

A small-town anthology built around the Loop, an underground particle accelerator whose presence creates local anomalies. The show commits to a slow procedural pace. Each episode follows a single anomaly through its consequences in the lives of one or two people. The shows technology is consistent across episodes. Robots, pause-time devices, body swaps, and sealed containers all run on the same Loop-derived physics.

Science inside it

A localised physics-anomaly source as the working device, a recurring set of small-scale anomalies including time stoppage, body swapping, and personal black holes, and a portrayal of a research facility as a long-running town infrastructure rather than a thriller plot device. The shows interest is in the human cost of a single anomaly per episode.
