Why it is hard sci-fi
Soft. The films one half-scientific moment is Anakins life-support reconstruction at the end. The procedural shots of the medical droids assembling the suit, fitting prosthetics, and pressurising the helmet are some of the few clean engineering scenes in the prequel trilogy.
Science inside it
Prosthetic limbs, full-body life-support suits, surgical droids, and the medical management of severe burn injuries in a setting with high-end medical robotics. The procedure is shown as a sequence of identifiable steps rather than as a montage.
